We're almost done tracking the guitars for the CD. So many damn guitars! Lots of different electric guitars, amps, effects, acoustic guitars.... it's sounding really heavy and beautiful. We should be ready for vocals and keyboards next month!

Also, "After The Rain" should be available for sale via iTunes in six weeks or so. AND, the compilation CD from Main Man Records featuring the single is now scheduled for release around Labor Day.

We just wrapped up tracking drums and bass at Estate Sound for our upcoming CD. The music is sounding truly awesome.

Producer Ron Nevison spent the weekend locked away with us in preproduction refining our song arrangements, changing some parts here and there, and generaly helping take the songs to the next level. Then, it was off to the studio for us to cut some tracks.

Earl Cohen came in to engineer the drum and bass sounds again — he did a fantastic job working with us on "After The Rain," and we were all happy to have his involvement at the start of our CD sessions.

Josh Gannet from Estate Sound did a great job running Pro Tools and engineering for the rest of the week — thanks, Josh!

Days Before Tomorrow recently finished recording our modern reinterpretation of the classic Nelson hit, "After The Rain," for a compilation CD project being produced by Kim and Keith from Sirius Hair Nation and distributed nationwide by Main Man Records.

Drums and bass were enginered, and the song mixed, by Grammy award-winning engineer Earl Cohen (full song credits below).

We begin recording our full-length CD next month. This melodic and progressive concept album is being produced by industry legend Ron Nevison, whose production and engineering credits include such legendary bands as Led Zeppelin, The Who, Heart, Jefferson Starship, Damn Yankees, Europe, and many more.

If you are one of the lucky individuals with a copy of our limited edition EP, you'll find our new material to be quite a bit different. As the band took on new members and evolved, our sound has gotten heavier and more intricate. We're actually re-tracking the three EP songs for the CD, and you can expec to heart some exciting surprises — especially on the song "Can't Do Anything," which has been transformed from an electronic pop tune to a heavy progressive rock song.
